Topic Yamaha usb driver problem
Just bought an MOX 6. Followed instructions exactly to download and install USB driver from Yamaha on 64-bit PC. Get error 25001: 'device not present'. Tried different ways, still no joy. Many people on web with same problem, but no solutions that work. Can anyone help?

I'm replying to my own post, as I've found the solution. The documentation that comes with the MOX6/8 gives you a certain Yamaha site to download the USB driver, but this is the wrong driver - it won't recognise the MOX6/8 because it was created before the MOX6/8 came out.

The correct driver (for Win 7/64-bit) is found on:
http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/global/en/downloads/firmware_software/yamaha_steinberg_usb_driver/yamaha_steinberg_usb_driver_161_win64.jsp

- and this works.

The filename is YSUSB_v161_Win64.zip

Drivers for other operating systems are found on:

http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/global/en/downloads/firmware_software/

I hope this helps all the others who have posted this problem.
