It is a poly synth, multi 16 in standard and multi 16/poly and up to 32 Turbokit version.
7 + 7 fader buttons + the two dials (bend and default module) + + Expression pedal between between pedal (sustain by default) all assign any MIDI Control Change
2 independent MIDI interfaces! (Crazy stuff!)
eg possibility to merge the two interfaces to a midi in and midi out to reverse the cranberry etc, lots of routing and control possible twelve o'clock.
aftertouch is polyphonic?
a sequencer, two multi effects.
2 multimode filters totalemen by voice
especially (a not prcis prcdamen t) 2 Megas RAM for external samples! (SDS or import certain format a floppy disk with the software or Turbokit S2 "sample link" when you're not Turbokit) The sounds are placed among the domestic samples.
3 out strospares (the effect remains on the main output)
Ability to add jusuq '2 Megas static RAM to keep the samples without additions and sequences used the floppy drive (for versions Turbokit).

UTILIZATION
That particular machine as initially but got used to it quickly. Editing sounds is not very complicated and MIDI routing is fairly simple as logic. (Just remember the meter mode on the menu midimerge general)
Ergonomics is nice for the possibilities (my taste more sense than the K2000's competitor at the time)
SOUNDS
We must let the generalemen low pass filter with cutoff background without resonance when it is no need, gives more presence to the sound when we cut the filters (when the sound cut the filters may seem a medium ).
The filters are on the principle of analogical modeling, they are not clean and beautiful (but much better than some digital machine rescentes more) they are but if you want 12dB/oct of 24, simply doubling the parameter setting of a filter on the other.
For me, the multi-effect is not great but hey I once used the delay.
the machine is not very dmonstrative preset with original, but when editing is s'aperoi the machine has a huge potential and synthesis quality (you can saturate the filters metan gains bottom).
OVERALL OPINION
The machine is very complete and vraimen practice both in master keyboard in Expender etc.. It is a machine and pointed the general belief that no er the expected success and the era injustemen mconnu actuellemen.
I sample the analog and drums on my EmulatorIIIXP I edit, loop etc then I sent in SDS in the S2 and it works great.
Personally, I buy the machine in 12900F00 in 1993 and added to Turbokit 3500F00 (3 months salary for me then). I do not regret my purchase and I do it again this choice (but OCCAZ because now he is out of date the award l.
