« Ibanez EDB600 »
Published on 11/02/02 at 15:00I got this at Guitar Center for about $400. I tried a couple of different body types and this felt good.
It has a beautiful tone when compared to other basses in it's price range. The neck is slightly thicker than the GSR series but thin enough for easy chords.
This is somthing that comes with most Ibanez basses and that's a somewhat narrow neck. It's a personal prefrence thing but its still important.
It got dropped while I was standing on a chair. It broke a coffee cup and a computer monitor but the bass came out without a scratch. It still plays well and that was a year ago.
The other guy that reviewed the bass is an idiot. This is a wonderful instrument for the price. I can't think of a reason someone wouldn't want this bass. You might try some of the new BTB basses though. I haven't played one but they look pretty sweet.
