I will not dwell on the characteristics of the beast:

Korean manufacturing
Micro Bartolini Mk1
Bolt
2 knob (Volume change and micro)
3 knob EQ for the force. Bass [boss / CUT] Middle [boss / CUT] Treeble [boss / CUT].

NOTE: 10/10 for the price, I find that the quality of the information provided is very good.

UTILIZATION

Well then, as usual on the Ibanez, it does not surprise me, the handle is a massive opportunity, just beautiful to play, stick thin, not too broad.
So what we feel at ease very quickly on it, especially since it is very light (I is not seen as a low light).
Still good for Ibanez, the tuning is very good road, except when playing in tune, beware of metallers who likes to play in tune mode to arrive in the infra-sounds .
In addition, the design of the beast is terrible, a head full of finesse (which can also have a beautifully balanced low ), A body thin enough and well cut that gives a lil chic side to the beast. and color is very low and pleasing to the eye

Note: 10/10: Nothing to say .

SOUNDS

this is where I'm really disappointed with this bass.

I play Pop Rock (Red Hot, Muse, Green Day, White Stripes, The Offspring, U2)
Before purchasing this beast, I owned an Ibanez, a blazer series of 1982, which has a very hot and his round.

With the SR500 it changes everything good already use at home first, Guitar Pro is launched, it tries a little California Red Hot it, its works great, sound great and punch (a bit too much) .

Treble as I love when you get to the last chord, the bass do not make us shake his head as acute as good when we share in the grave we have supported many of the serious, very good.
STRINGS BUT !!!!!!!!!!! We hear it ... you make a slide, you shudder that hearing the frets ......

Not very interesting to play on the muse for example, which uses a passive bass, which is very round and that sounds very hot.

Here is the great problem of the low strings that verges at times, the strings that you hear too much, finally it's a misery (I change strings pulling as soon as I get the chance I a password is taking over some) will be there also change the setting of the bridge ... will know ...

If anyone managed to get a well rounded warm with this bass, I ask him to send me a private message to AudioFanzine through to help me. Thank you

OVERALL OPINION

Very good bass for the price, nothing to do with the cort artisan ....
But good for my style of play, the sound of the strings really bothers me ...

I give an 8 / 10, this problem will surely set rope to the next string change, I will try another brand of qu'élexir and probably a superior firing ..
