The DigiTech RP-360 and RP-360XP will feature 126 effects, including 32 amps, 18 cabs and 74 stompbox simulations, as well as 60 drum patterns and a 40-second looper. 198 presets are also included and you can stack up to 8 effets per preset.
Plus, thanks to the built-in USB connection, you can use the free Nexus preset editor/librarian to create your own presets on your computer and transfer them to the pedal or share them with other users. The USB port also can be used for direct recording to a PC or Mac.
The RP360 offers three footswitch operation modes: Stompbox when the RP-360 is installed in your pedalboard, to assign each effect in a preset to the footswitches ; you can also use the RP-360 alone and navigate through the presets and banks with the three footswitches ; last, you can add an optional 3-button footswitch or external expression pedal to control the loop and navigate in the presets/banks.
Last, the RP-360 received a new feature called Sound Check, that allows you to quickly record a guitar phrase and repeat it until you get the right parameters and effects.
The connection panel includes 1/4" stereo outputs, 1/8" stereo headphone output and a 1/8" auxiliary input.
Pricing announced is $224.95 for the RP-360 and $299.95 for the RP-360XP (with built-in expression pedal).
