Many possibilities that can not find devices that much more expensive:
- Effects loop (for the 4 cable method, for example)
- 2.5 expression pedals 100% programmable (the lateral pedalle want a little gadget, it is true)
- Interface usb / asio for the sound (a time of this writing, no driver windows 7)
- Two small lamps to warm the sound
- It is noon (which I did not try) and you can program presets via MIDI and a computer.
UTILIZATION
The setup is clear and very complete. We can do almost everything. The manual is excellent.
SOUND QUALITY
Well then this is the whole problem in my opinion ... The sounds are super bad for my taste. It sounds bad, even to my ears beginners. I had the opportunity to buy to make 4CM what he has done wonders with a small tube preamp. Even so, hard to get excited about the effects (and amp models, I tried not too but it's the same barrel). Example: There are plenty of different reverb, but numerical modeling of rooms (bathroom, hall, stadium, etc.). It is not necessarily dégeux, but it looks nothing like a reverb amp, and it's hard enough to blow exploited.
I changed my amp for a big head lamp, and did some test: 4CM and bypass (guitar input - input zoom - zoom effect send - amp input, and all the effects turned off on the photo) the sound is already slightly compressed and a few harmonics through the cracks. So beware, even in bypass is not neutral!
So it will go 100% effects loop, so I just remove it completely from the signal and enjoy all the effects when my j'enclenche loop (anyway modeled pedals do not sound well enough to justify that we put them before the preamplifiers).
I put 4 points anyway, because the simulation is super convincing HP to play with headphones, the boost doesn't hurt and there are a lot of choice noisegate which can be useful.
OVERALL OPINION
That will make 6 months since I have it, the sound never convinced me even out of the box with the pleasure of novelty (and yet I'm quite a beginner at all demanding). It seemed to me at the time of purchase that I would sacrifice for his abilities, and it did not miss even if I did not expect such a record. But in retrospect, in value for money there's no much to say, since it has incredible potential for this price range. If I had to redo the election in the same circumstances I would do it again, since no other device has all the opportunity at this price. However in hindsight I do not have enough effect and now I can choose the quality of some analog pedals that sound good in the place of a super multi-effect that does everything but very moderately.
Note that my diet has cramer fairly quickly exchanged without question but with a lot of time by the importer (business managed by my store).
