Made in China or Korea, 24 frets, 2 humbuckers, licensed Floyd bridge, 3 position selector, 1 volume knob, 1 tone, Ibanez RG7 type handle. Glossy black base. Attention at the finish, it's not the top, normal for the price (176 euros) for mine, I filed down the fret board because she hung up a little but nothing major, adjustments to factory must say rotten, the ropes were installed above an above pulling a little light on the grave If I had to add vibrato to a spring to mount a big pull. Besides all that, it was still a 7-string to the quality / price unbeatable.

Note the luthier who made the finish: the quality of the elements being variable from what I have read on various forums, he said that Floyd's on mine is excellent, equivalent to the original after him.
UTILIZATION
Handle very nice, must be the hand and arm at the start when switching on 7 string Ibanez RG inspiration, access to acute is impeccable. In weight and ergonomics, we discover that playing up July 1 is more physical than we think, it looks at taking control of a switch from foil to Conan the Barbarian sword style ( Printing may be due to the fact that my other guitars are a Washburn NX3 and Strat mexico 60). SOUNDS
As for mics, that's what I've seen more dirty and unusable in my life as a musician, it is unclear, not fishing, I was unable to say whether the level of output was too high or not enough, and more, pick up any possible parasites. I said that I tested on a Mesa Studio preamp, power amp ADA Microtube 100 and a 2X12 cabinet with Celestion V30 Engl, so I should have something decent at least. Hebin no, scratch that sounds worse than the most rotten scratches on an amp like that, you can learn absolutely nothing in the clear as saturated as playing unplugged, there is about right. So, I turned the microphones home, I put a Di Marzio Evolution 7 in acute and Air Norton 7 in serious and there: a very pleasant surprise, well-defined large distortion, clear sound very good for microphones typed metal, I could just get the big fat powerful style Deathcore sounds great fit for John Petrucci. There's actually just change the pickups, put a game with a big rope pulling and re-handle settings / vibrato and you get a great 7-string, this opinion is binding cavity than me but I have a friend who RG7 has certainly more beautiful (it's not the guitar style Darth Vader to the dark side), but the sound of mine is much better especially saturated.
Added 01/12/2006: The Di Marzio Evolution 7 in acute is (notice that only my opinion of course, I have not tested all the microphones in 7) a bit too aggressive, I switched with my Air Norton I had put in serious and there my friends ... the sound is much more malleable and controllable with the volume knob and honestly Evolution in serious, it is simply monstrous, more creamy and controllable for the leads
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about two months, I bought it for the price it was to see how a 7-string. Originally, it is unusable against changing the pickups, it was a good scratch. I tried quite a few 7-string models, it is on it's not a Music Man Petrucci 7 or 7 Exccalibur Vigier, we play in the yard instead of Ibanez with a price / quality ratio unbeatable, even with the cost of change of microphones. I would do this choice because 176 euros + 200 euros guitar pickups, is still interesting given the choice we have in this price range. Certainly it is less attractive than Ibanez at 800 euros but it sounds better.
Added 01/12/2006: after 6 months of intensive use, and I must admit it surprises me that the scratch (despite being rather low-end or low) does not move, dry, wet, temperature variations, bends crazy, abuse of floyd, not moving Absolutely not, I paid two times in all and for all and no problems, it is still just at the level of harmonics, even beyond the twentieth case ( I checked so it surprised me) I was lucky because the quality was variable according to the reviews I've read
