All my 40 years of playing guitar, I have always looked at the headless guitars, like Steinberger, etc. These days there are Strandberg, and now Ibanez is getting into the game with their Q series of headless guitars. I have never really had a headless guitar, until I bought a Steinberger Spirit a while back. It was different, but a really good different. It was light, which felt awesome to my aging back, and no neck dive at all. Now I know what Allen Holdsworth was talking about. I recently sold all my other guitars, and bought 2 Q series Headless Ibanez models, and could not be happier. No regrets. My back thanks me. Now I cant stand for a while and play without feeling it like I used to with other guitars. Stays in place on my body also. Again, no neck dive. Love it.
