i just got one off eBay, it was new. i cant get this thing to turn on! i've tried 5 outlets, all over the place, and the little red light that says "power" never comes on ... yes, i have been turning the power on and off, depressing the bypass/effects switch, every permutation i can think of ... bringing the slides up, down, up ... checking volume ... nothing gets this pedal "on." the guy i bought it from swears it works like a charm ... any thoughts on what i'm doing wrong?!? i hope it's really something stupid ...
