8) I have a mint [orig owner] DX7IIFD and 2 TX802's which I just bought CHEAP on ebay. Go ahead and laugh. Along with my ASR10 and a slew of others, the Yamaha pieces are about my favorite sound modules [call me an old softee]. The TX802 is essentially a DX7II module [no kbd]. My problem: Being that RAM4 cartridges are so hard to come by, I am trying to save the contents of the 802's before I mess with the sounds. The 802 owners manual sez, among other methods of saving bulk dumps, I can use the floppy disk from a DX7IIFD to save all pertinent info to. The trail ends there without so much as a whisper on how to do it. The floppy has been my saving grace for the DX for years, but I'll be danged if I can get it to save the 802's info through a MOTU Midi Timepiece I into the DX let alone to the Floppy. Can any of you technicians out there steer me thru this? I may not have let on, but I am . . .Mucho Desperate ! ! PLEASE HELP. Thank you all extremely. Steve
