Yamaha DX7 problem after battery change

Hello I have a Yamaha dx7s which i purchased yesterday. I dont know much about the synth. today i changed the internal battery and after reassembly i found that i have no idea how to access the factory preset voices. When I power on the synth the LCD initializes normally but when i try to access a preset all i see on the LCD is similar to this
INT 1@@//~ i cant replicate the symbols, but where it used to read a voice name like "piano" or "flute" its just weird script.

can somone please help me out?
