M-Audio Firewire 410 - Only recording through one speaker..
I'm trying to record obviously on the Firewire 410, but I've noticed I only get input through one side(left side of the speaker).

When I play audio that is output, both sides play

Can someone help me??
simple, you are recording in mono.
Yea im new to this but worked out when setting up a track to make sure if it is an instrument that sits in the middle of a mix in the stereo field set up a mono track up for vocal / base guitar / base drum / snare / anything that sits in the middle . it will come out 2 sides then but one singke wav on screen . Maybe yo can help me - j have just moved form pc to mac and got the m-audio 410 and protools 7.4 i can ony get it to record every thing on ch 1/2 and when i go to next 3/4 no siginal at all and nothing recorded -- for now to get started im recording on ch 1/2 then moving it to the others 3/4 5/6 7/8 and it plays and then i record back on ch 1/2 agaim when its free. any ideas whats wrong plays out but not in on other channels other than 1/2 .......many thanks leo
