What technical specifications motivated your choice?
I wanted a card with at least 2 inputs and 8 outputs above. The possibility of routing also have pes in the balance.
For what purpose?
Primarily for recording vocals. Also to connect a guitar and use VST amp simulation. A lot of use in live too.
In fact, I do a lot of music Comd. I use it to make compounds in MIDI / Audio Cubase. Then I mastered all to be prss CD. Just when the live shows I composed with the same effects and the same quality as the CD.
What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
HP-Compaq Notebook Athlon 3Ghz, 768MB, 60GB 7200RPM, Firewire PCMCIA card, Windows XP, Cubase SX 3, Reason in ReWire.
Which instruments or Systmes (console, prampli, DTD ...) do you use the connection and how?
I use it live with a DDX 3216. Indeed, I connect the 8 outputs to the console and as required, I use the effects of the console or through Cubase VST effects.
I regret that lack of ADAT ports FireWire 1814 to make the recording in multitrack live with my DDX3216.

Installation is no problem it?
No worries
Have you experienced any incompatibility?
No. Sometimes when I connect my MIDI keyboard APRS plugging the card, it does not reoit MIDI. Gnralement I restart the map and everything works perfectly.
Gnrale configuration is easy?
You can do everything by the panel CONTRL card.
The manual is clear and sufficient?
Yes, everything is clear trs.

Are they often put day?
In my opinion, M-Audio puts new drivers to correct the problem, but if there is not ...

Software: Cubase SX3 (combined), Nuendo (post-production), Reason (standalone and rewire), Cool Edit Pro

How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment?
At max, I only records two channels at once, but I think the card can go much further.
Again, see my usage, I regret missing the FireWire ports from the ADAT to the 1814 live recording in multitrack with my DDX3216.
