On paper, that's good use for several months live in ext, all on a medion laptop P4 2.8 Ghz, win Xp1 ultra ligth, mackie 8 out of 1604 + 2 convert out of da / ad, pb no latency with 4 live, MIDI sync ok, its trs correct (try with 60 Kw of D & B and Granite!)
UTILIZATION
Installation on the original port IEE1394 impossible ... asus, obligation to buy pcmcia firewire 400 6 pin.
For mdion, no pb till my fault sche ...
Then I visit the forums and surprise to see 40 + users with the same fault ...
GETTING STARTED
The drivers are often updated on the site of m-audio, I used for 6 months acciduement pb ss and live with others, but it will burn for no reason (the 2PORT Firewire + card than the notebook) ...
OVERALL OPINION
So in conclusion, complete M-Audio! irrparable card good for any test case to have APRS, Pc, cables, cross on / off, power supply changes, formatting, drivers ... I take a hand Dirol ua101 me because USB2 parrait less fragile in a plug-unplug hot.
