24bits/96Khz, 2 pramps remarkable quality for such a small price.
The other 6 pramps are lower.
Using OSX 10.4.11
Runs without problem with Logic Pro 8 and Cubase Studio 4.5
8 / 10 for 8 real good preamps have more t (cf FireStudio PARD)

UTILIZATION

The installation is very simple (for English).
No inconsistency noted. Just a few rglages (latence. ..)
Plutt easy to use.
The interface is pretty simple.

With or without SHIFT, OSX, perfect compatibility.
I had a few crashes but nothing major.
APRS a manual standby Mac and therefore "rveil" card, the sound may crack.
Just restart the application (Logic) or dye / light the FP10.

GETTING STARTED

I use it with Cubase LE (included) and I wonder if it is compatible with the SX2 (but I see no reason).
It can record 8 tracks simultaneously (4 Cubase LE), but I have no arms 10, so, usually in two tracks (vocals, guitar) and it works well trs.

Update: Use two dual-core Mac Pro 2.66, cubase studio 4, the implement is embtant and laborious, it takes more time, one must assign a while under the DTECT to all alone.
After prolonged use, it cracks, makes noises, then we must raise. Nothing really but mchant heated faster and faster!

Since Cubase 4.5 Update hopefully better. No-detection problem even if the implementation is less comfortable than in Cubase Logic. She has fallen in price. If you and your little fortune DSIR something of quality and that two "good" pramps enough for you, go for it.
If you are a little more demanding and fortune, try the FireStudio Project, or tube.
If I can not pay me the apogee of my dreams, nor even though the metric haloween, I buy a Presonus FireStudio as the brand is a guarantee of quality.
