1 FocusRite Scarlett 18i8 - line input low gain in Studio One DAW
I am using Presonus Studio One - Artist edition with VST plugins. The volume levels (gain) for the VST plugin instruments is quite high. However when I play my Korg Keyboard and Roland JV unit connected via Line Inputs 5/6 7/8 I can barely hear them. The gain on the line input is automatically controlled. I have the FocusRite Controller open and I see the gain for line inputs is automatic?

After I record the audio track received from 5/6 7/8 lines, the volume of the recorded track is audible. Not when playing LIVE.

My workaround is to reduce the input gains for each of the instrument track in the DAW which is cumbersome.
How can I fix this problem?

My setup:
Windows 7 - 64 bit OS - 8 GB RAM running Studio One 3 - Artist edition.
FocusRite Scarlett 18i8 - line inputs 5/6 and 7/8 in stereo mode.
Korg PA - connected to lines 7/8
Roland JV 2080 - connected to lines 7/8

Input volume knobs for both Korg PA and Roland Set to Max.

Suggestions?

My Latest music track on SoundCloud is titled: Lydia888. This is a mix of DAW and Korg/Roland Hardware.
