Hey all,

I have my Ipad Pro connected to my Scarlett. 1/8" Male to 1/4" Male TRS Stereo cable.

My issue is that the levels are really low, and I'm missing part of the spectrum of the sound. If I play a rock song, it almost sounds like I'm playing a backing/karaoke track through the Scarlett.

I don't know enough to diagnose this, but I feel like I'm hearing phasing issues?

I've tried setting the various options on the input (changing from line to instrument, setting padding to on). Nothing seems to work.

What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I think I've figured it out.

What I think I actually need is a cable that converts 3.5 mm TRS to Dual 1/4 inch, which I can then plug into the 3rd and 4th inputs on the back of the unit.

Does this sound right?
