Interface gain vs Volume level on windows

I'm having trouble understanding what is the volume level on windows and the interface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen) I need to use, here are the scenarios below:

1 - Windows volume at 50 and interface gain at 80%
2 - Windows volume at 70 and interface gain at 70%
3 - Windows volume by 100 and interface gain by 40%

Please which scenario is better? Is it better to increase the interface gain and decrease the windows gain or vice versa?
