I would like to connect two keyboards to the 4i4 if that is possible. I have a Korg Wavestation EX and a Korg Z1. I use the program called Cakewalk. I looked at the manual on page 12 and it showed a typical setup. The MIDI plugs in the keyboard go from in to out on the 4i4 and from out to in on the keyboard to 4i4. I get nothing. The way I got it to work was 1/4" jacks from "1L" and "2R" on the keyboard to 1/4" jacks at the "line input" "3 and4". Then in Cakewalk select "Input 3" and "Output 1". I have no idea how to connect the second keyboard.
