Thread Advice on new focusrite recording question please?

Hi All,
I have just got a new focusrite solo and even after watching tutorials, I still have an unanswered question. I understand how to connect mic, guitar and headphones into the red box, but what about the amp I normally use to practice with and hear myself? Is this now redundant? I cant see a way in which it now connects up to the box, which only has several inputs so no more amp?
I would really appreciate any help!
