Hi,

I'm wanting to know if there is a way i can route a stand alone software instrument to its own channel in mix control?

I know how to record using the loopback feature but if i am trying to record while something else is playing so that feature can't really be used here.

thanks :fache:

Mmm
Please add some additional information like used software ( daw and stand-alone) and interface you use.

We can't do much with the information mentioned above

It's not about what you got to use ....    but how you use what you got...

Good morning,

Thanks for the post, although this may be more of a DAW question than an interface question, we'll await more details on the OP's setup.
That said, if you haven't yet discovered the Routing Presets in Mix Control, please take a look at the 'Mixing' Preset. This will route each output on the interface with the corresponding DAW output. For example, within your DAW, if you send a particular channel to output 4, this will send just that channel out over output 4 from the Saffire.

Hope this helps
Let us know how you get on.
