Value For Money :
Excellent
The installation does not pose a problem.
Just remember to leave the DVD in the drive for the first launch of the software.
Everything is ok!
I have not opened the manual .... thing of the past precedents.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
My config: Athlon 64 X2 4200 +, 2GB Corsair Twin X DDR, Gigabyte K8NF-9-RH
No conflict with my config.
me all that stable air ....
OVERALL OPINION
After the disappointments of the 207 version, I was cautious. Even with the patch, my 2007 version did not work properly. I tested the software on the PC of a friend who bought it.
So ... how to say .... WOUAAAAAHOUUUUU! seems rather appropriate.
I mainly tested for MIDI. Well, it does really well.
The MIDI editor is a wonder (although there is still some bug display on the toolbar). A true clone of the Cubase SX in ergonomics. Frankly, I like.
Really is a treat. The top is having the same time, the same window on the piano roll, the partition editor and CC track. Super convenient.
Moreover, the partition editor is really good too and easy to use.
This time, VST compatibility is complete and the new sound banks that come with VITA are really nice. In particular, honors the orchestral section which is (in my opinion) than the EDIROL ORCHESTRAL (still worth the € 400).
The use of external synth works without problems.
I'll add comments as and when.
PS: I do not 10/10, because it must still be a testicle somewhere (looking good)
EDIT: I found something pretty bad ... management multitimbral VSTi is somewhat bizarre. And explanations of the manual illuminate nothing. almost.
So, it's a bit boring! I must say.
But good for the price, it's still a beautiful animal.
Having owned successively version 2003, 2004, 2007 and now 2008 is by far the most successful
