Excellent
As my prdcesseur, I will not no longer on the dtail CHARACTERISTICS of which are well on the site Submitted by Line6 and others later.
Résumé to the POD XT Live is a "modlisateur" by which technologies numriques tries to restore the sound of any conventional analog configuration.
It's also a USB sound card plugs into a PC ... With my setup (centrino 1.3 GHz, 512 MB RAM, I play with 8 ms latency without any problem !!!).
It is more than just a modlisateur amp since many effects (stomp boxes, modulation, delay, reverb, etc.). Modliss are also. The ide of POD is really modliser a string of analog processing with the possibility of routing classical normment of paramtres adjustable as a string of analog processing permitted. The amount of diponibles MODELS opens up possibilities for coupling and large paramtrage trs. Obviously it is a quality but sometimes with so many possibilities we are left for hours to do only the rglage!

For me, the only thing I blame my POD:
- No Whammy
- A single Wha
I have not Tlcharger packs (the classic and the metal, because the original FX is included ...) but I find the amount of amps modliss trs sufficient to cover a wide varieties of trs styles and sounds.
UTILIZATION
Gnrale ultra-simple setup, either the POD or the PC is intuitive trs.
For cons, I think for someone who has exprience in no small effects, sound mixing and that the amount of paramtres dconcertante must be a little ... Each element of the chain is important in the final processing of sound. If you start misusing the machine (the very 1st thing to do is select the proper output configuration: combo / table / power amp) is the cat, sometimes with some comments o logieux little ...
For anyone who knows nothing, reading the manual is necessary. It looks good writing and clear, even if I did not read the dtail.
SOUND QUALITY
Obviously I have not used all the amps, speakers and pedals modliss by the POD, or never even taken the test of its output by an amplifier 57 or SM by Neumann, but can boast of having done? So it's hard to say trs if available modlisations really ralistes compared to the originals.
Sr what is, is that a sound, the sound is warm, enjoyable, to respect the style of the guitar is versatile and settings. To register, IDAL is: it plugs into the USB port, and hop ... 'Record' and it is in the bote! It's not gnial? No latency, no noise ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 10 days.
I love my POD XT Live, it has everything I was looking for: modlisateur, sound card, pdalier.
It lacks the whammy. Considering the price of this machine, we normment what to do.
Given its simplicity of use is a rgal to fawn sounds and register.
For me, qualitprix excellent when compared to its potential from an investment that REPRESENTATIVES config all analog.
Compared its competitors (Digitech GNX4/GNX3, Tonelab SE, GT8) Obviously I think it's the best, but it's got a question!
