CHARACTERISTICS see on this page (http://www.voxamps.co.uk/products/tonelab/tonelab_se.htm).
The machine is of robust design, while mtal, portards the game and do not seem trsrsistants.
Related questions: not unlike the output numrique Tonelab tabletop version and no USB. However the device can be connected to the PC via the MIDI and it has an effects loop.
UTILIZATION
Gnrale configuration is very simple. I do not think you can be classified as CATEGORY "I want my sound 2 seconds." If indeed we can find a good sound trs quickly, you can also spend time on the machine to make the sound.
Just for making sounds, nothing ever does so easy and intuitive. Like any analog gear: turning the knob and changes the sound effectively. The camera menu is also limited to MIDI and the choice between exit and AMP Line.
The manual. Worth dtour! beyond to be good and sufficient trs is the way people fawn Vox Submitted home the hardware.
Little Quiz Vox:
1 - MODEL This is a low PDAL APRS baptize one of the least apprcis rodents of the plant (about one of distortion pedals )
2 - A model of shooting a traditional analogue flanger that "dchainquot, one of the greatest guitarists Whereas by many as the" god of tapping both hands. "(About a flanger)
SOUND QUALITY
If reading the book is funny, ds that we touch the machine, everything returns srieux.
Simulations: Excellent! ralistes, they are perfect all kinds of music, except for ultra-mtal and others (even if I believe in the register any amp simulator is effective). Vox has taken care to offer the original amps rglages. If there was no SETTING THE gnral volume on the original amp, there will not be on the Tonelab SE.
I branch blues, jazz and fusion type UZEB Tonelab and it is right up my alley.
The speakers: I did not test mixer but on computer. L simus the speaker is excellent and perfectly fulfill their rle. They all bear a stamp and diffrent any amp simulation derrire.
The modulations of variable quality. Pitch Shifter example suffers from latency and sound trsmtallique. In contrast, chorus, flanger or even the octave are good trs. The Wahwah Vox is a choice of 847 or 848 (Clyde McCoy signature). On this point no surprise, the quality is l.
The dlais and rverbes: dlais the trs are good, several types, all usable. Nothing wrong. The rverbes are good, some may sound a bit but there mtalliques paramtres adjustable enough to make adjustments.
The Stompboxes: The quality is also to go, even if I am not convinced by all modlisations, the Tube Screamer for example, is not hot enough I think the Tonelab SE, unlike I possde true. This is not the case, however, the simulation of RAT (rponse question 1) which according to one friend "is the same."
I play with a Lag Roxanne Standard 1000 bought two years ago now on a Marshall MG-100 DFX. I have not had time to do tests on effects loop on the clean channel of the amp, the amp's effects loop Tonelab, etc.. your exact but is excellent. Of course, we must think out of the switch Tonelab amp line.
I use rgulirement studio Fender Twin, Roland JC-120, Fender Hot-Rod Deluxe, JCM800, 900 and 2000 and the sound of the Tonelab is close to the Ralite trs.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for several days, only computer and amp home. First concert in a month, I think I will update this time to confirm or refute my opinion on this product.
For now I am extremely satisfied. Positives? I do not know which name as PRIOR! There normment!
Look -> light + dual expression pedals silver + red LEDs, + case mtal = 10/10
Sound -> simus ralistes + + all usable combinations with good effect = 9.5/10 (trs sound enthusiasts will not find heavy forcment got them though ...)
In addition it is a book with a cover in rigige matriau cordura type. What more? CONNECTIVITY a PC? the machine is easy enough to use without it. May be an optical? the same is not a big default as the quality of the gear is good.
I have not had the opportunity to test Live XT and GT-8. I think a lot about the GT-8 and Boss gnral, but I think the Tonelab SE or for use LIVE Studio is much better than the GT-8. I do not rule in the future of acqurir a GT-Pro, but there again, the quality of this device galera does that of the Vox?
Bought 440 effectcenter Paris, I would do without hsiter choice!
