Maxon CS9-Pro Stereo Chorus

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

Oh, lalalalala ... Not but what sound (s)!
SETTING THE The "Delay Time" is a marvel, you must have a good old Boss chorus of the Small Clone ElectroHarmonix. No, you do not rvez with the pedals (and a few others!) I got exactly the sound of "Come As You Are" in a dtour rglage.
It is a chorus of versatility Inoue. The proof I use it with the same fun on Start, Tele, Les Paul, Electroacoustic and even active and passive bass!

OVERALL OPINION

If I lose the pedals, I lose the pedals! (Yeah it's easy ...)
The pedals are a must for any guitarist or bassist, for a reasonable price.

What qualities, like all Maxon pedals!

Analog Stereo Chorus (one IN and two OUT), with 4 knobs (rate / depth / blend and an amazing time delay, on rare chorus pedal format). According to Maxon, equipped with true bypass.

UTILIZATION

Bah non, editing is not simple, because this delay time knob that acts really so surprising (in a good way). The manual, well done, explains the functions of each knob and offers some examples of settings for CS9 but also for the flanger and delay, the time ...

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is really very good but very different from the chorus I used to date (by Jacques Meistersinger, which I posted a notice earlier this year)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month. By dint of playing, my ear has been refined and started to find the chorus of Jacques, as well as pretty terrible, a bit too "air". Being a big fan of chorus that are close to Leslie, I had a chorus warmer, fat ... I found with the Maxon.
This pedal does it all, the chorus slight, almost imperceptible to the big chorus not quiet at all, but in any case, it is still very musical (chorus, while others give you a terrible seasickness after the race depth exceeded knob ...). The delay time button is acting really strange, it alone can make you change your sound dramatically. With some settings, you'd think the chorus is mixed with the sound of a tremolo. I love it! And again, I use it in mono. I dare not even imagine what it would be in stereo.
on the other hand, three faults: the price, definitely excessive (€ 230 in Paris ... and € 200 in the provinces looking for the error ... lolll).
Second fault: if there is careful, when switching the pedal, it has a micro microphone mute (you can, pressing very gently, find the point of "no contact" makes you "disconnect") . It is pretty bad, considering the price of the pedal. That's why I get off my bill (-1).
Finally, if you put the blend in more than half means a slight increase in volume when the pedal is engaged ...
Despite that, this pedal is énormissime and I stick a 9 Well deserved.

Edit: oh yeah, I forgot something. I wanted to try it on in a Paris shop effects pedals well known. The seller made me try the Ibanez CS9 to me stating that the Maxon CS9 was identical, except for "two knobs and more unnecessary" and € 70 difference. But to have tried both also there is a HUGE difference between the two chorus, and I weigh my words. By the way, thank you to the seller that do probably never recognize, as it must not be aware of the stuff he sells, I do not set foot in his shop
