«  the best of two worlds »

delay pedal. which patterns are in the test audiofanzine

UTILIZATION

simple configuration, not really need a manual.

SOUND QUALITY

the delays are very good and sufficient. My favorites are 2290 and 2290 with analog modulation. I play musicman luke strat classic player 60 old Ibanez amp lamps and boogie dc5. Each guitar is well respected by the flashback.
I do not know if the 2290 preset sounds like a 2290, I've never had the pleasure of testing, I can only say that the delay pedal is a very clean and clear as can be expected. I find the delays with modulation convenient to replace a light chorus + delay combination.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months at home in both live.

I played for many years and I was able to test, use of longer or shorter a few pedals and multi-effects rack. I bought this pedal because it seemed like a good compromise between the two worlds and I am not mistaken. Here are my three reasons:
1 / nothing to say about the delays that are good and sufficient
2 / it is a pedal with 3 knobs, it is the delay needed in less than 30 seconds. Raz and tired complex racks with menus and sub-menus, you always have your hands inside to try to always set better dozens of parameters which influence is often barely audible ...
3/3 presets allow you to walk three different types of delay. Knowing that the time can be set by tap tempo and the volume of the delay can be managed with an expression pedal, that's a lot of settings arranged foot. I play in a group and it is an essential element, not having to bend down all three songs ..

So in summary, it sounds terrible, it's super easy to use and it manages to live up .... Frankly if you hesitate, do not hesitate!

Regarding the "presets download" part, it is not essential for me because it is itself the settings that go in a very short time.
On the loop part, I do not use it live but it's handy to save a grid in record time (without turning on the computer and everything else) and be able to improvise over. In addition it is well done it looper because it works as a recorder, that is to say, the loop is completely independent of what happens next. One can imagine his record a guitar with very little light, see no delay and then play along with saturated fat and bcp delay .... Top.
Too bad just that there have not a specific output looper to eventually be able to separate the loop of live game ... but hey, it's not really made for that at the base ..

I put 9/10 at all just because the ultimate delay probably does not exist and it takes a lot of space on the pedalboard.
