« A pedal that has character! »
Published on 12/08/11 at 05:53Distortion pedal very simple: volume, distortion, and a button "filter" kind of tone (in reverse)
The input jack are at the top (why not). It is a little wider than the boss and is looking very strong.
I'm not 10 power supply input for exotic (a jack for a power supply ...) that requires an adapter.
UTILIZATION
It could not be simpler. No need for manual
It goes from crunch to fuzz
SOUND QUALITY
Then the sound. In summary, I would say that this pedal has character. Some prefer distortion very smooth, although other drooling. The ProCo for me is well balanced between the two. It sound to it, I really like.
When I said she has character, is that I think she is not "neutral" as the can (be a Boss DS-1.
It adds a texture.
With my telecaster is a great mix.
OVERALL OPINION
With experience, it is ultimately the more I play by its sound that bothers me. Other distos are smoother, but the grain of the Proco I like it.
