This collector's edition of the classic MXR is very successful aesthetically.
This is not seen in the pictures but the paint is excellent, generally the pedal is very classy.
Certainly the most beautiful pedal my pedalboard.
Beyond the aesthetics, it's classic nano size - supply. standard.
There is also (in an attempt to justify the collector's edition by anything other than the pretty paint) a small switch to slightly change the sound (modern phaser / vintage)
UTILIZATION
Plug and play.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is the rendezvous is a classic.
The switch to change the type of phaser does little to nothing, unlike modern / vintage is very subtle (like the switch "mod" the analog delay of the same brand).
OVERALL OPINION
The big problem with this pedal is the price / quality ratio compared to a non collector pedal (about 155 € instead of 95 ....)
Basically you pay 60 € for a coat of paint and a switch pretty useless ....
This is annoying compared to Phase 90 basic and also in relation to small stone (EXH) which sounds great (a little more personality character, the MXR is also more subtle neutral) and costs about sixty of euros.
