I replaced the pickups of my Tokai LC85 these mics about six months ago and it has to be literally transformed my guitar!

The MKII's original Tokai are not bad, they sound very vintage but are a bit just to manage large distos (lots of feedback and sound a little runny). They are dedicated to me sounds rather jazz / blues.

The Seymour, they are far more efficient for the hi-gain: a lot less feedback, notes, always well defined, heat, and we find the per ... Grain's Slash!

I just regret the lack of splittage to broaden the range (-1), but other than that, it's really happy. I have a couple SH1/SH4 on another guitar, it's also very good but the Slash sound really "different".

It is certainly expensive (it is due to low production, craft practices, see the great videos on the net) but it gave a sacred character to my instrument (a lot of scratch me questioning my mine's ... nothing, my guitar sounds now widely as well as shovels worth more than double).

Recommended!
