TC Electronic's PolyTune now features support for Drop-D tuning in a new update.
For switching between standard tuning and Drop-D, press and hold the footswitch for two seconds.
The free update (for PolyTune users) also includes a new ’Capo Mode’ designed to compensate when a capo is being used. The software update is available on TC Electronic’s website, and it can be installed via PolyTune’s USB port.
PolyTune has a chromatic tuner as well, with an announced +/- 0.5 cent accuracy. MonoPoly, another TC Electronic technology, is designed to recognize whether you play one or more strings and switch between the polyphonic or the chromatic tuner.
