True bypass, no "poc" is turned on, very handy feature PolyTune live, fast enough.

Not cheap but not more expensive than others ...

Yes, without hesitation. It is true that the function PolyTune is not absolutely accurate and tends, with my guitar, to underestimate somewhat the notes. But in summary audit, to be sure that no rope is completely off, it works very well. The tuning-note is responsive and precise.

So here then the little beast that made me so anxious! (Note that I never had as a tuner pedal)

The heart of the matter:

Polychromatic mode, I touch the handle or not, I scratched the ropes several times in a row or one-time, with or without a pick ... not need to have perfect pitch to see if it sounds wrong I admit the way that PolyTune tells me ...

By chromatic tuning in classic cons, it pays very well except the low E, a pile of 1 / 8 th of your below ... And polychromatic, the single note that always seems well indicated, it is precisely the low E!

So I attach using 2 modes ... Not ideal but ...

Otherwise, it is downright beautiful, solid, end (next to him, the Boss seems TU3 obese and vintage die!), And replacing the battery is simple and clever ... short of that side, but good!

Mixed so I put a 8 / 10 in color mode and 2 / 10 in polychromatic since everything is fake except ... the low E.

1 month that I was offered. This is my first pedal tuner format. What I like: true bypass so no food no sound at all, silent tuning, highly legible screen (automatically adjusts the light intensity) despite a smaller footprint, precision made either in mono or poly-compatible with all the guitars / bass, nice look. But especially how poly super convenient, it is a breakthrough innovation in the small world of tuning. I would do this choice because you can not ask more of a tuning pedal, it gives accurate, is readable, easy and true bypass, solid box and drop tuning, chaining Food ... It offers everything you need ... for a cheap anyway, but it was a good gift! It's a pedal that keeps a life anyway. Look no there's no better!

What thing do you like most/least about it?

Good tuner, fast and bright. Regarding the accuracy it works fine in normal mode, ie single string (the former). Mode is rather polyponique bof, I would say the low E string is not just his opinion. It is called (after TC) because I slam my strings too hard ..... Other than that it works very well and fast in normal mode and it is quite enough!
Ah yes this is not bad is the double jack for connecting power supply to power other pedals!

I use this pedal over a year now. It is extremely well thought out.

The pros:
- Read: big screen, lots of LEDs (109), light intensity varies with the brightness outside
- Fast: nearly instant
- True bypass
- Several available modes (1 polyphonic, 2 color)
- Extremely accurate color
- Polyphonic mode to visualize the tuning of 6 strings at the same time!
- Operates in drop tuning
- Works also with low
- Metal case foolproof
- "Normal" price for unparalleled benefits (same price as the Boss TU3)
- Can feed a second pedal (+ DC in DC out)

The -:
- Polyphonic mode does not work for open tuning agreements
- Polyphonic mode is slightly inaccurate with low strings (especially the middle), but you get used to.

In conclusion, this is the best tuner pedal format to date. She presses the competition in quality / price / performance.

I would do this election? Yes, a hundred times yes!

I bought this pedal in August, have tested a month and have sold quickly.

I have lots of experience I now think in terms of format pedal tuners (I owned a Boss TU2 chronologically, a Korg DT10, a CT and a Korg Polytune Pitchblack). Reactivity level in "note for note" okay, it's in the middle (not as good as the Korg, but a little better than Boss). In "poly" is not tip top steak: it requires that the guitar pickups are perfectly tuned to the point of having a sound level of each string, and the accuracy is horrible (the 6 green lights were synonymous with guitar even false, the delta corresponding to a green line is too high).

A word more compared to a previous review: the model that I had presented no "false" in the tuning (I mean just a Mi granted on the TC was just given out a Mi ).

So yeah, to me it's still a pretty average tuner, with a mode PolyTune enough gadget (especially one with minimal musicos ear happens to detect only the strings or tune (s)).

Level readability outdoors is pretty average (like all tuners LED compared to the good old needle tuners), and poly mode on stage is pretty grim for those who have mild vision problems.

I put a 5 for the mixed impression. In the same price range the best is for me the Korg pitchblack (reactivated and excellent readability at top).

I've had two months. Before I used the tuners built into various multi-effects I've owned (Boss GT5 Pod X3 Live)
Pedal format, not bulky, relatively lightweight but sturdy.
Look nice ... the price is equivalent to other similar tuners

In color mode, it is fairly accurate, simulated the needle by the LED is pretty cool ...

In polyphonic mode, however, is rather mixed, the results change depending on how to scrape the strings ... I can never be totally "fair" mode while poly I am color ... even with different guitars, changing the positions of microphones, scraping with a finger or a pick ....

It's a good tuner in all but the polyphonic mode is not fully developed and seem to be a gimmick than anything else ...

Unlike other reviews I found very practical fashion PolyTune! They specify in the instructions to set neck pickup and play the strings with your thumb: I tried: NICKEL! (Notice to other users, like you tried that?)

Used for a little less than a year on stage and in repeats. I used a Behringer TU300 ago (read my review on it).

The PolyTune is pretty and functional, I am very pleased with this acquisition.

The traditional rope tuning-by-chord is accurate and the display is very readable. It has two power outlets (in - out) what is good practice.

The only small downside is that the poly mode still has great difficulty in tuning Drop D and Drop C on the other hand it works great in standard tuning.

The quality / functionality / price is really good, I would do this choice without too much hesitation.

After 4 years of using a Behringer TU300 whose relative slowness did not suit me more than I chose this product: top!

I tried just about everything that exists in this format in tuner, but was not completely convinced because apart from the speed they did not add much (considering my use).
The Polytune checker offers the possibility of the 6 strings on stage together is precious: a knock on the pedal, mute and it was immediately a view of the tuning. Corrections on the ropes or concerned may be made immediately.

I used recently (December 2010).
I used the tuner on my old Korg multi-effects AX100G long then a tuner Korg CA 40 before buying this one.

The fact that this mode is "polyphonic" is attractive at first but it went pretty quickly that this mode lacks some accuracy and this fact is enough "gagdet" in the end. (It says in the manual it is preferable for best results, use the neck pickup and scratching the strings with his thumb.)
The normal mode rope rope is much more accurate. It is possible to change the display mode via a button and agree to drop tuning but I have not tried it yet and I am not getting in standard tuning ...
Visibility is good and adapts according to ambient light, it is particularly strong and dipose of DC in a loop-out to feed another pedal. But I can not use it because it creates a buzz on my Tech21 California impressive ...

This is a good tuner, the price / quality ratio is good. Although this is perhaps not the best, I do not regret my choice.
