WHA WHA effect duplicate the VOX of the 60 models used among others by Jimi Hendrix
UTILIZATION
Ensures simplicity (vintage so unbreakable, easy and effective)
SOUND QUALITY
Remarkably, most of wha equilibrated in the market (between Dunlop and Morley) Plus a look and a flawless finish.
Clean sounds and vintage trs funcky
Trs heavy distortion spend much but it's not his area of prdilection ...
OVERALL OPINION
This is the second vox I buy, the first I had sold because found what did not sound properly (it was my first WHA). So I bought this Vox V847 90s and spat the potentiometer, so I had replaced APRS and the first test I found that the effect was wha trs shallow and acted only on the top of the pedal (the pedal travel was not in fact constant). By dint of tinkering on the inside, I found that running the potentiometer was 2 times that of cremaillre who leads. So the position of the potentiometer cremaillre of paramount importance. I ended up selling it because it was really an aesthetic state pitoiyable
I have just buy a used but almost new, there was still protective plastic film and APRS over the first trial, I immediately understood why the person was trying to sell: the pedal was RULES evil factory: the crmaillere only acted on a beach "dead" of the potentiometer and thus there was virtually no effect wha, the sound was low or high but n ' There was no linearis in the pedal travel. So I changed the position of the crmaillre from the potentiometer (position heel so the sound has not changed position but toes, the sound is sharper and more pedal travel REGULAR, the effect acts on the positions of the pedal.
Therefore résumé: the person has tried 5 minutes, then wha was his first sound he was not more (normal) it has not sought to understand and put up for sale immediately. .. 90 euros instead of 140 euros is a steal!
All that to say he must be careful with manufacturing problems and the operation of a random image is wha depending on the position of the rack (there is a setting to do that is not always correct factory is like a guitar), always vrifier before being deu ... Set to match the tastes ...
