I bought this this unit new about a year ago in Denmark Street, London. If memory serves me right, I paid about £70 for it (after much haggling between the neighbouring shops)

It's Vox, it looks cool and everybody seems to go wow when you use it. It is a good jack of all trades wah. Plays funk (think Shaft) right through to the rock side of things. Good traditional toe activated switch allows easy operation and above all, I like the range that the wah covers. Even with the wah left in different positions, there are a few useful tones be found in there...

I sometimes feel that the unit can make your guitar sound a bit too midrange, leave the wah in the wrong position for a split second and you will have your audience holding their ears in pain. Having said that, for the money, it is an excellent purchase. (In my opinion it beats the Jim Dunlop wah hands sown...) Remember, buying a Vox wah is buying a piece of history and you can sleep in your bed at night knowing that you have bought a tried and tested unit. One thing that niggles me quite a bit about this pedal is that it is not true bypass and above this, it does like to suck the tone!

This is build to last. That pivotal action and the switch are solid and have lasted no problem. Even units from the 60s seem to be holding well. What better advertisement can you get than that? OK, so now they are made by a different manufacturer now, but hey! In keeping with tradition, they still come in the chic 'leather-esque' case. Top! I think this pedal survives the road well. I hads no problems with it...

If you are looking for a cheapish wah that oozes class, looks and sound, this is your fella. Look after it...!
