MGR/Niki Hendrix
« Vox V847 Wah-Wah »
Published on 12/02/01 at 15:00I got this pedal used from an online store.
I also got it simply because I needed a Wah!
It cost me $60 used.
The pedal has great sound. It's a true Wah!
It talks!!(well, not really)It's very durable and has a nifty vintage case to carry it around in. Hendrix had one himself, so you know it's worth something!
It's not muddy like the Dunlop Hendrix Wah that people were complaining about, and didn't understand why his name was on it.
There's nothing that I don't like about it.
It's simple and takes no logic to use....
well you should make sure you can talk and walk at the same time before using it
I would like to mention that the volume will be a little lower once you turn it on though.
It's very sturdy. It is large and is heavy
(not break your back heavy!!).
You won't find much plastic hardware on this thing, unless you include the rubber feet and the rubber protector foot grip.
Well, I will say that no one can copy Hendrixs' sound "exactly", but the man had this Wah, so that's as close as you'll get to the real thing. Unless you find a vintage vox Wah that is =)
