Bald Man « It does, but ... »
Published on 02/15/13 at 13:44Received yesterday, unpacked as dry Made in CH ... 100% maple plywood (mine has a rather nice table and a way back ...), maple set neck, rosewood fingerboard 22 frets, nothing to report if n is that the Chinese sacred wood working correctly. This is not a '60 Gretsch or Gibson '60 but it is not the same price!
The routing is usual (2 Humb. Stamped Epiphone Alnico Classic and Classic +), 2 volumes, 2 tones and a switch 3 positions.Il should be noted at this point that the mine is equipped with CTS and the 3 pos. is identical to those on my Gibson .... U.S. will understand CHarles!?
UTILIZATION
I was looking for the forgotten sensations of the 335 but have the means, the handle is really nice. The varnish should be lightly sanded for a bit sticky but nothing monstrous. For the rest, if you measure 1.40 m sure, it's going to do it!
Otherwise conform in all respects to the original.
SOUNDS
I chose this grater in addition to many others to bring a bit of warmth in certain securities groups with whom I play. I think I can do it easily after: a bit stripped the varnish stick and above .... THE MICROS change! These are all the same mics you might find on a guitar Cash Converters! It falter not even a fly! I tried it on: AC4, AC50, TSA15 Marshall DSL and Lone Mesa .. in any case, must ... replace these coils that capture radio, telephone conversations, the sound of iron and the neighbor, the little remaining bandwidth, the vibrations of the strings!
So even if AC is not worth much, when using live, expect a few hundred dollars more to acquire new pickups. For my part, I only play Bare Knuckle so ... this will be set to the armholes of € 280 or ... the price of the guitar. I do not lose sight of the violin is good enough to deserve these microphones.
OVERALL OPINION
So I have since yesterday, has already picked up during 10/11heures I tried a bunch of other brands (and I also hold many others). Level violin, very friendly and well above what the price might suggest, special mention to the junction sleeve body has everything a great.
The downside: microphones .. help!
The value for money even with a new set microphone is excellent (approx. € 500) and ca demeans other trademarks far enough.
With the experience of a few lives in a few months, I'll tell you what it is!
