Hi all, I'm new to this forum and new to DAWs. Quick question about why I'm hearing such poor sound quality from the monitor output of my Scarlett Solo when recording through Input 1 (brass instrument condenser mic going into Input 1 with 48V phantom power). The sound is so bad I can't stand to listen to it. Yet, when I've finished recording and play back the recording, the sound is great through the very same monitor output, same headphones, same everything.

If it matters, I'm using Pro Tools for recording. Thanks for reading.
