Scarlet 6i6 Pops and Clicks

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd gen and I'm fighting with pops and clicks that I haven't been able to resolve no matter what I do. The issue is now happening outside of my DAW as well, so I'm going to replace the interface as I see that some people have never found a fix. Does anyone know if these problems have been resolved with the 3rd gen 8i6?
