Thread Connecting An Amp to a Focusrite 4i4

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 and am using a stereo amp. On the amp to the computer I have it connected from "Aux" to a "USB" connection. And from the "Amp" "Tape 1" to where on the Focusrite? "Line Inputs" or "Line Outputs". Looking at the back of the focusrite from left to right the top 1/4" jacks are "3" "1" "3" and the bottom from left to right are "4" "2" "4". I'm confused. The stereo amp is a Pioneer SX-650 if that makes any difference.
