Amp mid-lamp or hybrid.
100 watt delivered.
Input jack on the front. all other connectors are behind the head.
A clean, overdrive 1, 2 overdrive. A volume knob each.
A gain for each overdrive. 1 for the clean reverb, reverb for an overdrive.

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple, and there are quick and easy sound is desired.
The knobs are not very sensitive => Marshall ..
However they are sufficient, and are very satisfying.

SOUNDS

This amp suits my music style is heavy metal, yet it owes much to push the volume of the amp into overdrive for a well heavy.
I play it with a jackson RR3 update. and I am connected through a Boss GT-6.
With the overdrive volume was low or normal, we get a pretty clear sound that reminds of AC / DC more violent or Airborne. But with the overdrive thrived, we obtain very quickly the sound of Metallica's 1st album, so much heavy.
I prefer the overdrive driven well, but I often use the overdrive light to play Airborne. The clean is very satisfying to natural, but with effects, it's perfect.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for about 1 year.
I tried several other models like the MG-15, MG-30, MG-100, AVT100, but none was satisfactory, the Valvestate 80 had enough rain. But the Valvestate II head and cabinet is actually my favorite.
Level money, I think this is the best choice, since we can find the head and cabinet for 500euros and less FDP.
And with experience, I would do this choice for this amp in my collection. But with money, I would rather have a Marshall JCM800 and a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier.
