1 Drums Playing Together with Samples
Hey there
My Band has following Problem: we have Samples which are bound to a strict computer Metronome (as you know).
Live, its hard for the drummer to play together with this samples, cause sometimes, they are rather light and quite (for example, if you have strings or a reversed piano), and because of that, sometimes the drummer doesnt play in the rythm of the dj-ing stuff.
How do you play such things live? with a samples? Should the drummer have a metronome or something that "binds" him?
Examples: Linkin Park: Runaway, Somewhere I Belong, Lying from you. The Samples there are bound to a metronome too. How is it possible for the drummer to keep such a strict speed?
