« Epiphone Les Paul »

I bought the guitar from Long and Mcquade. At the time I loved Jimmy Page (and still do) so I had to have a Les Paul.I walked into the store thinking I'd be putting a 3000 dollar guitar on layaway for like a year but then I saw it floating like an angel(well actually it was hanging from a rusty guitar rack).I thought "wow, just like Page's".Unfortunately when I took it home and got it into better light I realized that it's alot darker than his.I ended up paying $685.00 Canadian altogether.

The best thing about this guitar is the sound.Because the instrument is so heavy it has a full, crunchy sound to it. It also has great sustain and in my opinion sounds just as good as the Gibson model(not the vintage models though).also the appearance. The finish is extremely shiny and the wood provides an interesting pattern under it.

When I bought the guitar there was some white paint where the neck bolts onbut Igot most of it off. Also the neck volume swith sticks. It's very heavy to but I guess that's why it sounds so great.

The guitar is constructed almost flawlessly. The bolt on neck is great and all the frets are straight. I would say the quality of this guitar is comparable to the Gibsons.

I would reccomend this guitar to anyone looking for a high quality guitar. Even if you have the money to spend on a $3000+ Gibson why bother, spenrd the rest of the money on a strat or a better amp.
