Installation is simple. I have not had any particular bp.
I use Mackie Tracktion 2 (Raw Material Software to be prcis and as a user of the Premire hours
)
The manual is really a kind of MODEL, trs trs teaching with clear explanations on intrt dithering.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
It works fine on my trs XP2400 + / 1GB RAM / Asus and Tracktion 2. However, and this is not a surprise, it is greedy trs. We can put it on the master of his squenceur, but better to use it even when a publisher.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 year.
I love this app, and I'm going to contradict the advice below because there are some cons-vrit.
I also knew well the Waves L1 I used for 3-4 years and a c'tait MODEL Contents of transparency and efficiency and in particular of dithering algorithms.
The fact is that it is primarily a tool to refine and give a little more volume the mix.
We do rptera enough: it's the mix that we must work, and arrter to believe that "the album pro" sound good thanks to the mastering. The goal of mastering unify DIFFERENT mix to "give a color" an album, and possibly up to weaknesses.
If an output mix is rotten, it's not that amliorera Ozone.
For my part, my mixes sound good dj trs before passing into Ozone.
Thus, the loudness maximizer, it is precisely the limiter ... And the reverb is extremely useful. It is used in mastering, to unify the space and give a scale supplmentaire a song. This well-sr is used gently, and the advantage of Ozone is to exclude beaches frequency drives -> So, exit the bass that did not need to be rverbr es ...
The limiter is probably the best existing (with that of Voxengo Elephant). It is an incredible transparency and immediately gives the boot a bit. We can rgler its operating range, the curve of attack, etc ...
As for the dithering Intgr DSOL to the opinion below, but whatever. Dithering has never changed the color of a piece, or made the sound worse. However, it is essential when you have small signals, behaves well in 24bit, is likely to be damaged by a 16bit conversion without dithering (we remove the information, that's all ...).
And it turns out that the algorithm of Izotope MBIT is Whereas as one of the best on the market if not the best with Apogee.
Unless a record pure music of all artifice and EUND (compression, EQ, etc. ...), I do not see how one could hear a diffrence.
For EQ, it does a good job, but I do not use tons Whereas it is the mix of being good.
Ditto for the multiband compressor, inconsistent with my perception of sound. (Compressing, it seems to change and lose CONTRL of my mix, and lose the natural).
Clearly, this is a great tool, but it is better to fall back on a Voxengo Elephant when you do not need the EQ, Compression, Reverb, and all the artifices of any remaining fawn trsdlicats if you want to use improvised ingnieur mastering.
