UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is soft (no ballast) to allow beginners to get a hand, and APRS with exprience to pass a keyboard touch heavier.

Config. simple, with Cubase SX, no problem. The ToneDirect allows you to assign buses to the inputs and outputs. It's intuitive. You Sets the latency based on the capabilities of your computer and go.

Select MIDI channels, the beginners I just galr (I do mostly audio), but a pianist friend dpann me well.

Manuel? I did not slip.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months.

What I like: intuitiva the beginners and the fact that I understand the usefulness of the effects (compressor, reverb, EQ, De Esser and others). You open your recording software, you plug the guitar, you open your rear window GearBoxen plan, you choose your amp simulation, for example, Gypsy Jazz, and you costs. If you had to unsuitable RULES you the effects of modulation, or you change presets, and then you record.

I like least: the keyboard, the look is vintage (the fashion of the moment he parat) ok but a bit cheap I got for 400 Euros invested. Some problem of recognition of inputs and outputs, but by a prrglage I saved as a result I find myself less than the head. Sometimes, costing in Gearbox presets and recording in the software, I have a diffrence of his, has forced the effects work well.

You can really customize your sounds, presets t'aident better see how screwed up a guitar sound, and you tamper with APRS, you costs, you RULES, and you backups.

No, I did not try other models.

The Toneport for the use I make of: recording my first album is a résumé correct sound card, a modlisateur amp is pretty good, especially the pace. To begin to understand the computer music for me, with the exprience, I go upmarket, but in practice this allows the DJ to put hands in the sludge and to understand how sounds are fucking.

The ratio quality price is good, even if I pay 400 euros (+ Toneport Gearbox Gold), made a small amount, but I say that I have a tool for learning , make me happy by guitar riffs, and above all, be full of guitar sound to vary on the album.

With exprience, so I would do this choice.
