Thread bose l1 or ld maui

I need help to choose my new PA system. I am currently using two rcf art 522a in front and sennheiser sr 300 in ear monitoring. I perform as an solo act with backing tracks and play the guitar and sing. I am looking for a system to put behind me on stage so I can also use it for monitoring. I play mostly in small venues with 50 to 100 people, in hotels, private parties and weddings. I have read about the Ld Maui 11 and 28 and it looks great and it doesn't cost to much. I have tried the Bose L1 model S1 with B2 bass and really like the sound and the playability. But it is expensive, almost twice as much as the Ld Maui 28. Anyone who has tried all the systems and can give me some advise?
