TS808 Overdrive type with much more gain without compression Ibanez. In short, it's a TS made for those quin'aiment not TS.
French pedal analog design, assembled in Poland by EXAR, as not mentioned either the packaging or on the pedal. Hence the 5 / 10.
The idea is excellent.

UTILIZATION

Very simple, I appreciate the interactivity of potentiometers, which is a characteristic of Jacques pedals.
No manual, do not push it with an overdrive and not a gas plant.

I'm using it as a clean boost and as a boost channel saturated tube amp.

We really love this type of grain for use as OD itself on a clean.

SOUND QUALITY

I tested my TB in sequence on a Blues Junior, a Budda amp, a Hot Rod Deluxe, a Peavey Classic 50. In any case, I was very disappointed with the sound quality.
The grain is straight, without heat and quickly becomes noisy, which excludes use as a conventional OverDrive clean channel, it was very good.

Best results were recorded at low volume on my blues junior with saturation pushed blind. Indeed, it twists under the finger, without sacrificing the grain of the amp.
But for me, a good pedal to sound good at high volume. Here we are in fact the opposite.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two years. I do not use more than at home and at very low volume.
Very disappointed with the record high volume of tests and inconclusive on many amps as I remain very cautious about the enthusiasm generated by this pedal.
The mouth of Jacques, is the best overdrive in the world.
I much prefer the original and its derivatives.
For the price difference, I prefer a Fulltone OCD factory or Ben Rod Classic Screamer, a real boutique pedal.
I will not repeat this election, you'll understand.
