Waves announces the availability of Reel ADT, a processing plug-in designed in collaboration with the Abbey Road Studio team.
Reel ADT, which had been introduced in January at NAMM, is an emulation of a tape machine designed to generate the famous “Automatic Double Tracking” effect that participated (among others) in making the Abbey Road Studios famous.
The GUI allows you to adjust the drive for each voice (signal), as well as the tape speed (Varispeed) and pan, and you can monitor the input and output levels.
Reel ADT is available for the introductory price of $99 instead of $200 for the Native format, and $300 for the SoundGrid version (no special price of this format). You can download a trial version from www.waves.com.
