We announced it a few days ago, Audient will introduce on Wednesday at Musikmesse 2014 a new mic preamp called ASP880.
The Audient ASP880 is the first product launched since the brand was acquired by Simon Blackwood in 2013.
The ASP880 offers 8 mic preamp channels, two FET DI instrument inputs, a Burr-Brown A/D converter, variable high-pass filters and variable impedance for the different types of microphones. All is mounted into a 19” 1U rack unit.
Each channel of the ASP880 features a balanced insert with direct access to the converter, so that you can add your external EQ and compressors. Note that an A-D button allows for using the converter in standalone mode, independently from the mic preamps.
Last, the preamp offers ADAT, AES and S/PDIF digital outputs.
