VOX’s original JamVOX has been reborn as the JamVOX III stand-alone plug-in software. It brings amp amp effect modeling with plug-in compatibility, along with advanced Guitar XTracktion (GXTIII) technology that can isolate and remove tracks from existing songs.
JamVOX III also provides a movie recording function, making JamVOX III suited for playing guitar, learning songs by ear, practicing, or producing music.
The Guitar XTracktion Technology III (GXT III) allows guitarists to remove (or extract and emphasize) a specific guitar part from an existing song. GXT III uses the phase and frequency to spatially identify and isolate the instrument specified. Using the loop playback function, players can also listen to loops of the section of the song they’re learning or practicing.
A total of 19 amp models provide the sound of vintage amps such as the VOX AC30, as well as more modern amp choices; 12 speaker models reproduce details such as the construction of the speaker and cabinet size. These amp models use VOX’s Virtual Valve Reactor Technology.
The effects section includes 18 standard pedal-type effects such as wah and compressor; 12 modulation-type effects such as chorus, flanger, and tremolo; 11 delay-type effects including models of analog circuitry such as tape echo and multi-head; 15 types of reverb, plus noise reduction, for a total of 57 premium effects.
In addition to VST and AU plug-in formats, the latest 64-Bit DAWs are also supported natively.
