It's an amp simulator for guitar and bass and a multi effects: 24 amps, 18 HP (with firmware 2.0) over a wheelbarrow effects.

It is fully digital and supplied with a PC editor available via midi.

Unfortunately it is not rack, a guy on the Internet had transformed into a rack but I palm address, sniff, if someone finds a m'intresse.

UTILIZATION

The basic configuration is very simple, fairly close to an amp, the thing thickens when one wants to do rglages in depth, if you have a PC that is quiet, open the editor and we RULES in real time if it's a bit galre and better to have the manual handy.

I put 8 for use with PC if it is 6.

SOUND QUALITY

I used to record the song, the guitars, bass and synth the same every time I got a recording of good quality.

24 amp high-end 3000 francs (pay price in 2000) is possible??

Yes and no

- Yes, the sound of the J-Station is truly stunning, the sound slams right away, the Fender is crystalline, the Mesa aggressive, the Marshall cradingue, we spent hours rgler different amps for different occasions with key to a rich and fairly natural.

- No, if you compare a real Mesa / Fender / Marshall ... We realize that a simulation is far enough from the original while bringing it much more than a Pod or a V-amp.

In the series "unspeakable horror" the acoustic simulation is despicable.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought the J-station in 2000 to replace the Pod (argh) I bought 6 months before.

I used to save models hard rock, pop / rock and metal / industrial, it was used for recording guitar, voice and bass and each time the sound silent nickel. Trs I just used the effects section because I had a lot of pedals dja.

As said prcdement, I had a Pod before the J-station and had the t trs deu sound dirty in the clear warm without being mushy distortion in either in-house or with pedals, again, the multi effects silent joke.
The J-station has reconciled me with modlisations amp as what it is better to trust his ears that the hype.

The J-station is, for me, a great tool for quickly recording a song with the minimum of gear. There has been a trail of scratches in the clear, turn a knob, it is taken into a crunch, then lower and finally made a song, everything with the same machine, we add a box rhythms and was a complte song of a quality more than adequate.

The report qualitprix silent trs good for 5 years she has given me many services and allowed me to record a model of good quality it is still now and REFERENCE APRS even buying a Mesa and a Marshall pramp I always keep on hand.

I choose the same referrer eyes closed.
