UTILIZATION
This is especially a machine super simple to set up: Turn the knobs, you safeguard and hop ... I use it on my desk at home or the VC12 pedal on stage. It's sturdy and finally almost more practical than large Tonelab SE, which offers the same service but is not so convenient at home.
SOUND QUALITY
For my part, I use a VOX AD30VT home and I had a AD120VT for rehearsals. With the Tonelab, I found the same type of sound: it's digital, but it is still relatively warm and dynamic (living?) Lamps are widely help.
OVERALL OPINION
I do not use it anymore because I use a POD HD500 to a Tech21 PE but I'm keeping my Tonelab still and VC12. Pod offers a multitude of opportunities that did not Tonelab but not the nice grain of the little blue box.
I much preferred the Vox Tonelab ST with which I've never been satisfied with the sounds and whose usability is worse. I also have a Digitech RP250 allows stuff and does not sound bad but still much more digital and less warm.
